Use the following configuration for using 1 or 2 Y-cables to monitor 2 or 3 meat probes:

2 Meat Probes: Plug one Y-cable into the pit jack on the Flame Boss 300 controller. Plug the pit probe into the black lead labeled PIT/M1. Plug one meat probe into the red lead labeled M2/M3 and plug the second meat probe into the meat jack.
3 Meat Probes: Plug one Y-cable into the pit jack on the Flame Boss 300 controller. Plug the pit probe into the black lead labeled PIT/M1. Plug the first meat probe into the red lead labeled M2/M3. Plug the second Y-cable into the meat jack. Plug the second meat probe into the black lead labeled PIT/M1 and the third meat probe into the red lead labeled M2/M3.
